Position: IT & QA Manager
Work Location: North-East - 1 New Industrial Road

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical guidance and manage team of IT operations and software QA staff
• Identify, investigate, troubleshoot and resolve all technical and infrastructure operational issues
• Setup, configure and manage servers and environments as required
• Monitor alerts and perform health check on the infrastructure regularly for proactive trending to achieve incident and problem prevention
• Perform implementation, operations & maintenance of support tools and systems
• Perform test and evaluation on new products and service
• Perform simple scripting to automate process for computer operators
• Support operation process/procedure review and audit
• Document and update operational process
• Conduct software compatibility tests with programs, hardware, operating systems, or network environments
• Create or maintain databases of known test defects
• Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures
• Develop or specify standards, methods, or procedures to determine product quality or release readiness
• Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability
• Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers
• Document test procedures to ensure that they can be replicated and compliant to standards
• Install, maintain, or use software testing programs
• Investigate customer problems referred by technical support
• Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
• Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality
• Update automated test scripts to ensure currency
• Collaborate with field staff or customers to evaluate or diagnose problems and recommend possible solutions
• Coordinate user or third party testing.
• Conduct historical analyses of test results
• Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks

Requirements:

• Degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum five years of relevant experience in IT operations and software QA e
• Experience testing ecommerce and other web applications
• Familiarity with software testing methodologies, processes and best practices
• Network design, installation and support
• Windows server 200X, Linux OS, various types of open source tools and software solutions
• Hands-on experience on hardware/software troubleshooting
• Setting up, configuring, managing and troubleshooting Windows 2K, 2K3 and 2K8 servers
• Familiarity and experience with Linux servers
• VMWare or other Virtual Server solution
• IBM, Dell & HP server, blades
• Network monitoring tools and traffic analytic, security tools
• LAN, firewall, switches, troubleshooting, high level knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv4/6
• POP, SMTP, FTP, SSH, HTTP, SSL
• Candidates with relevant certifications will be preferred: MCSE, ITIL V3, CSQA, CMSQ, CSTE, CMST, PMP
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are absolutely required
