We have a strategic plan to increase our therapeutic areas from Urology to Oncology and Infectious Disease to become a significant force in the market in the next 3-5 years.

Position: Senior Sales Analyst
Work Location: Sydney, NSW

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Analyst with several years experience in the Australian pharmaceutical industry. This position will be reporting directly to the Business Unit Manager.

The role has a dual marketing and sales focus:

1. Marketing - Supporting the business plan function by building market models for new and existing brands with the aim to optimize brands by effective resource allocation.
2. Sales- Supporting sales performance by developing, evaluating and reporting against key sales force metrics relating to the incentive scheme, territory sizing, segmentation, targeting and identifying key hospital accounts.

Key responsibilities include:

• Sales force performance analysis in line with business objectives
• Maintain reporting systems
• Recommend and develop procedures for the sales and marketing managers to use in determining sales strategy
• Circulate relevant and accurate sales statistics to the sale team for their information and action
• Maximise the effectiveness of the Electronic Territory Management System (ETMS)
• Assist in the business planning process for the sales force.

Key attributes include:

• Adaptive communication style - ability to communicate at all levels of the organization across difference disciplines i.e. ability to draw simple summaries from complex or multifaceted data source.
• Ability to work at both a strategic and operational level
• Collaborative and consultative – seeks input into the development and deployment of information with the cross functional teams
• Calm under pressure with excellent attention to detail

Required experience and qualifications:

• Degree qualified, ideally in mathematics, statistics or related area.
• Several years in analytics in the Australian Pharmaceutical industry.
• Familiarity with database operations, systems and procedures (Access, COGNOS, SAP,IMS plus etc)
• Ability to write code such as visual basic desirable but not essential
