Position: Water Resources Manager
Work Location: Melbourne, VIC
Job Type: Full Time

Primary Purpose of Position:
To lead the Water Resources team comprising Water Resources Engineers, Scientists and Project Managers, based in Melbourn

Key Responsibilities:
  • Effective strategic planning and management of the within “Water Resources”
  • Achieve sustainable growth of the group through targeted client relationship management and business development activity
  • Provide project governance, at project director level, of project management in the functional area to achieve reliable project performance in terms of sophistication, timeliness and quality
  • Provide leadership to the employees of the team and support the Functional Manager in the delivery of the wider regional objectives

Key Performance Indicators:
  • Ensure the standards of both SMEC and the client for quality, time and financial objectives are consistently achieved or exceeded across the region
  • Enhancement of SMEC’s reputation
  • Meet fee and contribution targets
  • Variations are submitted effectively and accepted by the client
