Job Description:

• Assist and support the Senior Architect and/or QP/PIC in project implementation
• Create smart, interesting and innovative ideas when working on design concepts
• Ensure that the best design ideas are achieved by doing relevant research and by closely analyzing the client’s design brief and requirements
• Put up good and convincing presentation materials which display fully the design concepts, for effective communication with the clients
• Assist in conceptual designs, design development, contract documentation, authority submissions and pre-consultations, contract administration, site meetings and project meetings
• Complete all necessary pre-consultations with relevant authorities early to avoid abortive works
• Carefully check all building plans prepared for submissions to URA, BCA and technical departments to ensure full compliance, before making formal submissions. To highlight to Senior Arch or QP if there are any deviations or waiver items to be settled with authorities upfront
• Keep track of authority submissions status, project schedule and manpower allocation so that the project schedule and budget are maintained
• Prompt and pro-active in handling and replying to clients’ requests
• Notify QP and/or PIC early if there is project schedule creep so that immediate remedial actions can be implemented

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree graduate in Architecture with minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Designation of Architectural Designer is for foreign graduates whose qualifications are not recognized by BOA
• Possess flair in design and would be able to do good design presentation drawings and quick hand drawn perspectives
• Has extensive knowledge in Autocad
