Position: Distribution Executive
Work Location: Selangor - Petaling Jaya

Purpose of the position:
Assist Distribution Manager, PG&P in delivering and maintaining best in class transport operations by achieving the KPIs and applying transport systems and standards.

Principal responsibilities:

• Follow through with transport partners to ensure transport safety requirement e.g. Driver and Vehicle Safety Framework (DVSF) is effectively implemented and constantly adhered to; and support the launching of various safety programs so as to achieve best in class safety standard
• Engagement with drivers and staff through joint activities e.g. Pre-Departure Check (PDC) or Leadsafe in order to demonstrate greater visible leaderships.
• Close collaboration with transport partners team on daily operations to ensure contractual KPI’s in the area of safety and service are delivered accordingly
• Follow up closely with stakeholders including SCP, CSC, Sales and Operations to ensure deliveries are done successfully
• Manage a team of supervisors based at various locations and provide guidance to the team to ensure each site achieve its set KPI’s, at the same time building up supervisors’ competency level
• Ensure the implementation of delivery strategies at PG&P sites such that the business delivers on its Product Service Offer (PSO), while at the same time delivering the set KPI’s including DIFOT and unit delivery cost
• Ensure adherence to transport standards and continuous operations improvement through regular operations performance review and put forward recommendations on improvement plans.
• Lead or Involve in various improvement projects e.g. Green Belt focusing primarily on transport operations efficiency improvement

Required qualifications/experience:

• Degree or Diploma in Logistic or related fields
• At least 2 years working experience in logistic operations or related activities, and also people management
• Must be flexible and willing to work on alternate Saturday, and occasionally during odd hour including Sunday
• Analytical thinking; and proactive in resolving issues and proposing improvement initiatives
• Customer focused and sensitive towards order and quality In delivery services
