Our subsidiary, Mitsui Phenols Singapore, manufacturer and sales of Phenol and Acetone and Bisphenol A and Mitsui Elastomers Singapore, the global hub for marketing and manufacturing centre for our trademark high-performance elastomers are looking for suitable candidates to fill the E&I Engineer position.

Position: Electrical And Instrumentation Engineer
Work Location: Across Singapore - Jurong Island

Responsibilities:
  • Planning and scheduling all maintenance works, including work procedure, safety procedure, safety precautions, labour & equipment, spare parts and material requirements.
  • Ensuring safe and efficient execution of daily, periodical and shut down maintenance work.
  • Carrying out engineering study of E&I works in plant facilities modifications, revamping or upgrading as well as in new projects.
  • Carrying out technical investigations of plant problems, evaluation of findings and recommendations of countre measures to prevent recurrence of the problems and upgrade of the facilities.

Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in chemical plant environment.
  • Knowledge of PLC or DCS is advantageous.
  • Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Candidates with EMA license are preferred.
