Due to an internal promotion we currently have an amazing opportunity within our Gyprock Trade Centre (GTC) at Townsville for a customer focused individual looking to further their career with a distinguished company. This is your chance to be part of the largest and busiest GTC store in North Queensland, where you can demonstrate your sales expertise. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be customer focused and will possess a strong work ethic with high levels of personal drive and energy, a can do approach with the ability to positively contribute to a team environment.

To be considered for this role you must have come from a retail trade background, with strong home improvement/building product knowledge. Customers describe you as someone with a professional sales and telephone disposition and able to provide timely solutions to customer queries and problems. You will have a flexible attitude, be team orientated, strive for excellence within the customer service arena, and have a good eye for detail. You will be able to prioritise with ease, enjoy working in a fast paced environment, and have strong computer skills. In return you will be rewarded with a company that truly values its employees and offers opportunities for progression. Current Forklift license and SAP knowledge would be highly desirable but not a prerequisite.

The business operating hours are, Monday to Friday 6.00 am to 4.00 pm and 7.00am to 11.00am on Saturday on a rostered basis. The salary package including hours can be discussed upon receiving your application.
