Our subsea facility in Johor, part of our business expansion in Malaysia, seeks suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of:

Position: QA Engineer
Work Location: Johor - Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize and manage the technical activities of QA functions Involved in developing, modifying and executing company quality policies and procedures that affect immediate operations.
• Perform and coordinate failure investigation of equipment manufactured
• Formulate quality procedures and quality plans to meet special customer requirements
• Work with customer or third party inspectors on all aspects of quality issues
• Coordinate, prepare and conduct training on quality improvement and quality audit/management.
• Analyze meaningful quality data that is actionable and coordinate with the mfg departments for corrective and preventive actions
• Perform project QE work and work with the customer and operations to ensure that all customer quality requirements are adhered to and complied with.
• Performs internal audit based on the planned schedule, prepare audit reports , initiate CPARs on the findings and follow up on the corrective actions.
• Ensure that plant’s CPARs, FPR’s and NCR’s processes are monitored, acted upon and responded with adequate RCA and CAPA under the guidance of Quality Manager and based on the championship assignments.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or a technical discipline
• Minimum 2 years experience in manufacturing environment, particularly in QA/QC.
• Effective communication, analytical and judgmental skills are required.
• Broad knowledge of total quality management, ISO 9000 and/or API Q1.
• Proficient in MS Office, PowerPoint, etc.
