Our subsea facility in Johor, part of our business expansion in Malaysia, seeks suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of:

Position: Assembler
Work Location: Johor - Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas

Responsibilities:

• Complete the training and assessment requirement of the role of Assembly Technician satisfactorily set by the Department.
• Read and understand Engineering Drawings, Bill of Material, Test Procedures and Work Instructions.
• Assemble Products and Equipment as according to drawings and procedures.
• Conduct Testing of Products and Equipment as according to procedures.
• Troubleshoot on problem areas during assembly and testing.
• Complete the training and assessment requirement of any material handling skills satisfactorily in support of the function of an Assembly Technician.
• To perform any other related departmental function as necessarily assigned by the Department Manager / Supervisor.

Requirements:

• SPM / SPMV or Trade Certificated / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics
• 1 – 2 years experience in assembly, testing, repairing and servicing of oil and gas equipment in relevant industry or 3 – 5 years experience in heavy machinery industry.
• Willing to work on 3 rotating shifts.
• Willing to work in factory environment operating cranes and forklifts during heavy lifting of products and equipment.
