Position: R&D Hardware Circuit Designer (FPGA)
Work Location: Bayan Lepas

Description:
  • Design and development of FPGA include building signal processing solutions and will involve real-time signal processing-based designs and implementation.
  • Use FPGA simulation and design tools to realize and verify high quality and robust solutions in Verilog or VHDL.
  • Ensure requirements are well developed, documented and proper integration in conceptual stage through to transition to pilot production.
  • Participate in the product definition, development plans and schedules for new products.
  • Work closely with Project Manager to construct proper schedule and ensure timely project delivery.
  • Constantly on the search for new tools/methods/technologies to elevate design charter.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor/Master Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering with >2 years related working experience.
  • Experience with Xilinx ISE, including Plan Ahead, and synthesis tools, such as Synplify.
  • Experience using equipment like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers for problem resolution and design verification.
  • Experience with team-based FPGA development – design partitioning and integration.
  • Knowledge in high-speed digital design, PCI Express, DMA and memory systems.
  • Skills in DSP algorithm development and DSP implementation using FPGA will be added advantage.
