Your challenge:
Philips challenges you to utilise your strong Marketing / Product Management experience to drive the ongoing success of our Lighting business. The Lighting division in Philips is going through an amazing transformation - making a move from traditional lighting to energy efficient lighting solutions. As such we require a talented individual to drive our strategic marketing activities into the future.
Your Responsibilities:
Reporting to the General Manager, this is a key role within Philips where you will be responsible for:
- Providing leadership to the current team of Product Managers
- Managing both the B2C and B2B marketing programs including PR, government interactions and Lighting Council of Australia representation.
- Driving the marketing leadership of the Commercial Lamps, Professional and Consumer Luminaries business
- Leading the establishment of End User Marketing for Philips Lighting
- Developing Philips Loyalty / Partnership programs
- Leading the strategic growth and development of competitive advantage in all channels
- Management of key agencies and MARCOM
- Leading E-commerce strategy & plans for Commercial Lighting
- Leading the improvement in Marketing process capability
Your team:
Based in North Ryde, this role will see you working as part of the Lighting division of Philips. You will be working within an energetic and outcome focused Sales and Marketing environment, where creativity is encouraged and good performance is rewarded. More broadly, you will be working as part of Philips; a global leader in Lighting, Healthcare and Consumer products.

We are looking for:
To be considered for this role you will have:
- 10 or more years Marketing experience, preferably with 5+ years product management experience in the Electronics or Retail industry
- Demonstrated leadership and management experience
- Superior communication skills – both written and verbal
- Outstanding stakeholder and relationship management skills
- Ability to set and deliver strategic plans
- Strong commercial acumen
- Tertiary Qualification in Marketing / Communications or a related Discipline. Post Graduate studies such as MBA will be highly regarded
