Description:
Performance Acceptance Manager is responsible to setup and manage performance acceptance requirements and testing in the areas of HW platform, LTE, operating system and applications in lab & field environment and be effective in supporting the various test environments for product development. Product Acceptance manager owns the domain expertise and responsible for system level performance requirements and acceptance, has the ability to diagnose lab and field issues and guides the HW and SW team for specific improvements and/or solution.
The key responsibilities include:
- Primary contact window for both internal and external test labs. Responsible to arrange resources and to generate reports with analysis.
- Run a performance testing in the area of UMTS/CDMA/LTE conducted/OTA and troubleshoots with HW/SW developer.
- Domain expertise in the areas of UMTS/CDMA/LTE parametric and signal conformance.
- HW platform performance testing in the area of display, sensor, battery, audio, driver, charging
- Windows performance testing in Applications, Services.
- Work closely with Windows Certification Manager & internal Quality team to coordinates, plans and implements projects affecting testing operations.
- Provides system administration including the installation and testing of new software packages, troubleshoots
- Initiate an activity on a performance related issue and work closely with different team.
- Collaborates with customer acceptance team for successful operator lab entry and lab approval.
Qualifications:
- Education Level Bachelor's Degree (±16 years)
- 10+ years domain experience in wireless business and related work experience running a testing in lab environments.
- Knowledge of GPRS, EDGE, HSPA, IS2000, EVDO and LTE are required.
- Knowledge of applications and technologies in mobile device or Tablet.
- Knowledge of test equipments from Spirent, R&S, and Agilent.
- Knowledge if Windows Qualification.
- Excellent communication, multi-tasking, troubleshooting skills.
- Experience writing automated scripts (CMD, PERL, VBS, etc.) a plus.
- MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferred.
