Position: Cost & Schedule Engineers
Work Location: Across Singapore

Responsibilities:

• Develop cost estimates and project schedules for projects in Singapore Refineries and Chemical Plant
• Interface with the business and project teams, specialists and vendors to ensure estimates quality and completeness
• Improve and maintain the local estimation tools and cost data
• Provide low-cost alternatives and simplifications to implement low-cost capital projects

Requirements:

• A good Degree in an engineering discipline from a recognized University, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in Cost and Schedule Engineering, preferably in the oil and gas/chemical/manufacturing industry
• Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in the English Language
• Exposure to significant process plant engineering activities, with an emphasis on Cost Engineering, preferably at a contractor’s office
• Knowledge of project management fundamentals, front-end engineering and the relevant skills in project planning, estimation, scheduling
• Knowledge of basic computing tools and the ability to learn new software quickly
• An effective team player with excellent technical, troubleshooting, organizational and analytical skills
• Able to provide support for multiple projects simultaneously
