
ExxonMobil Requires Electrical Engineers for Singapore

Position: Electrical Engineers
Work Location: Across Singapore
Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering expertise support to the Singapore Manufacturing Complex to ensure safe and reliable operations
- Provide engineering assessment, engineering design, plant troubleshooting and equipment failure root cause analysis
- Provide engineering solutions for problems in specific fields
- Provide engineering expertise support for projects managed by ExxonMobil Engineering Manufacturing Singapore (EMMES) for the Singapore manufacturing complex
- Provide support for major shutdown maintenance or major equipment maintenance work, ie. planned shutdown or GTGs major inspection
- Participate in electrical network activities when required
Requirements:
- A good Electrical Engineering Degree from a recognised university with a major in Power Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in the petrochemical or chemical manufacturing industry
- Practical experience and good knowledge of medium voltage and low voltage electrical power distribution equipment, protection relay, variable speed drive and motor application
- Practical experience in electrical power system study, which includes load flow study, short circuit study and relay coordination
- An effective team player with good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
- A self-starter who is able to work effectively with minimum supervision
