Description:
Boeing Aerostructures Australia is Australia’s leading designer and manufacturer of composite flight control Components for commercial aircraft. We are renowned for our collaborative and supportive working environment and for the incredibly high calibre of our people. We are currently seeking a Lead Industrial Engineer to join the team in Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Industrial Engineers to support the business and develop processes that design, develop, test, and evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial production processes including human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics and material flow, cost analysis, and production coordination.
- Developing the strategy for the IE processes, content and procedures and leading the subsequent implementation.
- Ensuring Fisherman's Bend (FB) operations has adequate and competent IE resources available to satisfy BAA FB and customer requirements.
- Making decisions and recommendations that support FB Operations schedules and cost controls.
- Development of the IE budget.
- Leading continuous improvement and Lean activities.
- Modelling behaviours that support adherence to Boeing Corporate Values
- Ensuring that you and your teams work practices adhere to customer, regulatory and BAA procedural requirements and to ensure the conformity of our products and processes.
Classification Level:
This is a Non Award Job Grade 6 position and remuneration will be commensurate with skills and experience.
