
Bombardier Requires Regional Marketing Executive for Wichita, KS

Position: Regional Marketing Executive
Work Location: Wichita, KS
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Manager, Regional Marketing, the Regional Marketing Executive will ensure complete co-ordination with Head Office Montreal, ensure that all marketing efforts in the region are suitable and relevant, and will drive change in regional marketing where necessary to improve and enhance image of Bombardier Business Aircraft brand(s). H/she provides senior advice and judgment on tactical marketing support for the Business Aircraft Sales function and creates, drives (and amends where necessary), the strategic regional marketing plan for their region. The incumbent will be responsible for the US region.
Principle Duties:
- Initiate, develop and activate programs/activities to cultivate leads, build brand awareness, develop customer loyalty, increase Bombardier Business Aircraft profile and harvest prospects (with direct mail, events, local sponsorships, statics, advertising, partnerships, strategic alliances, etc.)
- Work closely with Creative and Shows & Events teams to co-ordinate marketing efforts and ensure efficiencies across the Marketing department
- Provide regular, timely and factual reports to Manager, in order to track activity and measure ROI
- Act as an ambassador for the company by being a first point of contact for any marketing or sales enquiries generated from the region
- Interact directly with Sales Directors and RVP to develop cohesive Sales and Marketing activities
- Research and identify potential customers (both current owners or concept buyers)
- Accurately forecast and manage budget expenditures related to all regional marketing activities
- Manage (keeps up to date, cleans regularly, promotes use of) the databases for the region in concert with their Regional Marketing Analyst
- Build and maintain a clean, accurate database to become the bedrock of all regional marketing plans in the region
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in marketing and significant relevant marketing experience within a large organization. Event and project experience essential
- 5-10 years relevant experience
- Perfect English language skills (written and spoken), regional language (if not English) imperative, other languages an asset
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills essential
- Must be able to work independently, alone for long periods, whilst retaining a high level of sociability when required. Must be skilled at managing relationships over distances
- Ability to interact with a high level of customer both internal and external. Ability to take informed, balanced, autonomous decisions when necessary
- Availability and confidence to travel internationally and independently, potentially to less travelled locations. A certain amount of physical or repetitive work may be required in some cases.
