Position: Body Electronics Evaluation Engineer
Work Location: MI-Detroit/Ann Arbor

Description:
The main offices for the Toyota Technical Center are in Ann Arbor and Saline, MI. This position is for an Circuitry Engineer within the Toyota Technical Center Electronics Systems 2 (ES2) department, located in Ann Arbor, MI.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Manage daily activities related to body electronics evaluation for new vehicle development projects - including evaluation planning, design reviews, root cause analysis and countermeasure direction setting
  • Perform vehicle development leader activities - manage overall electrical evaluation schedule, present periodic status reports to department executives and program mangers, ensure vehicle quality by electrical screening at various NA plants
  • Lead and support annual project assignments from out department counterpart in TMC

Qualifications:
  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology or related degree
  • 1+years of experience in the mobile electronics field (either work or enthusiast) preferred, but not required.
  • 1+years of experience with electronics circuits and measurement equipment preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to effectively work and communicate in a culturally diverse environment
  • Excellent verbal and written technical communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel both domestically and internationally
  • Excellent driving record
