Position: Engineer/Senior/Staff Engineer (Facilities) - Slider Fab Operation
Work Location: Batu Maung

Responsibilities:

• Plan for building & cleanroom layout and space requirement to meet changing needs of MPS (Master Plan Schedule) and other productivity improvement projects. Need to coordinate with relevant departments like Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Engineering and Manufacturing System.
• Draft and update plan-wide layout and utilities layout as and when required.
• Assume leadership role in project planning, implementation and controlling.
• Ensure project activities compliance to Safety & Housekeeping Policy; Contamination Control Procedure; ISO9000; ISO14000; OSHA; Building By-Law and other agencies regulation.
• Understand and accept responsibility for performing project coordination job safety by vendor or contractor.
• Responsible for system performance for any civil, mechanical & electrical alteration and extension carried out by vendor or contractor.
• Work & achieve on the goal & objective set by Supervisor.
• Ensure commonality/standardization among same process/system within related manufacturing sites.

Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Civil / Electrical / Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of related working experience in factory environment or in facilities project work associated to mechanical, electrical, civil, building maintenance or interior renovation works.
• Basic Computer skills preferably in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Candidate with professional certificate; certified by professional body or authority in specialty field; and familiar with local authority dealing will be an added advantage.
• Candidate must be hard working, self driven, integrity, good communication skill and has a team work capability.
