Position: Senior / Engineer - QA (Failure Analysis)
Work Location: Penang - Bayan Lepas Industrial Park, Phase 4

Responsibilities:

• Performs hands-on failure analysis and debugging / trouble shooting work on customer returns and / or line fallouts in order to help identify failure mechanisms.
• Responsible for data collection and records of all technical work done.
• Uses good verbiage to write clear and comprehensible FA reports that explains failure mechanisms.
• Liaise with relevant parties to ensure full customer satisfaction on all failure analysis work.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering with minimum 1 year direct experience in Debugging / Failure Analysis
• Advance Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering with minimum 5 years direct experience in Debugging / Failure Analysis in an electronic manufacturing environment
• Good understanding of SMT processes, possible failure modes, and mechanisms.
• Good working knowledge of failure analysis equipment and utilities / Device Failure Analysis
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and circuit diagrams / schematics.
• Basic knowledge of IPC / JEDEC standards.
