Position: Recruiting Qualified Weapons Engineers (Applicants outside of Australia)
Work Location: Penrith, New South Wales

QinetiQ Australia’s Complex Weapons and Explosive Ordnance (CW&EO) Line of Business employs more than 40 specialists in Explosive Ordnance (EO) Engineering, Through Life Management of Munitions, Support to Explosive Manufacturing, and Range Services. Under a Capability Partnership, these specialists provide engineering services, to help support the full range of in-service munitions with the Australian Defence Force.

In order to meet the developing requirements, positions are likely to exist within our team based in Penrith, New South Wales, in the western suburbs of Sydney, for tertiary degree-qualified senior engineers with a minimum of 6 years of relevant military experience. Positions will be for a minimum for 2 years. The roles will be office-based and focused on providing EO Engineering services in support of non-guided munitions, to enable the ADF to maintain the technical integrity of its EO inventory. Applicants will be qualified RAF or RN Weapon Engineer Officers, and if Masters qualifications are held in either Guided Weapons or EO Engineering, that will strengthen the application.
