Position: Steering Development Engineer
Work Location: Penang

Responsibilities:

• Conduct optical steering and provide relevant steering analysis or improvement for new device
• Coordinate and support steering related continual improvement project, relevant manufacturing process optimisation and steering mathematical tools
• Provide technical support and interface for any steering related improvement topics between RnD process team and production where necessary
• Support new phosphor introduction with proper steering investigation and relevant device level characterization per new application need

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Applied Science (major in Physics or Statistics)
• Strong knowledge in statistical analysis and relevant tools (Minitab, Cornerstone), mathematical modelling, Microsoft Office tools (Words, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
• Satisfactory communication skill with different people from multiple job function and stress tolerance
• Good judgement ability on the task and job prioritizing
• Basic knowledge of LED manufacturing process, phosphor conversion, colour mixing principle and photometry would be an additional advantage
• Fresh graduate are encouraged to apply
