Position: Mechanical Engineer

Description:
Under Supervision of the Engineering Manager, the Mechanical Engineer position is defined as follows:

Basic Job Duties:

• Mechanical Engineering of complex electro-mechanical food processing machinery
• Includes Mechanisms, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Servos, PLC, and Motor Controls
• Supporting existing equipment and contribute to the design of new equipment
• Work with various departments, customers, sales, purchasing, manufacturing, and fabrication shops when necessary
• All other work assignments as required

Requirements:

• BS Mechanical Engineering with 2 to 5 years of experience OR 8 to 10 years mechanical design experience
• Design of Complex Electro-Mechanical Machinery
• Hydraulics and Pneumatics
• Thermal Dynamics
• Material Finite Analysis
• Experience with 3D CAD Modeling (Auto CAD 3D preferred)
• Knowledge of PLC, PLC Logic Programming, Controls Systems and Motor Controls
• Knowledge of schematics/wiring diagrams
• Travel: up to 25%

Preferences:

• Engineering of Food/Beverage Machinery experience very highly desired
