The Workshop Technician will be part of our high achieving facility based in Canning Vale.

Under the supervision of the Workshop Manager, the Workshop Technician will be responsible for:
  • Developing and applying basic knowledge of standardized procedures
  • Performing routine maintenance on tools, units, guns, and support equipment
  • Replacing expendable parts, gaskets, seals, lines, fittings, explosives/ radio-active supplies, etc.
  • Picking up equipment at the rig site, testing or refitting equipment off the shelf as required

Experience and Skills required:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • TAFE or Trade Qualifications will be highly regarded
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Strong commitment towards HSE and quality
  • Prior Oilfield experience is desirable but not essential
  • Fork lift license and dogmans ticket is preferred however training can be supplied.
