
AMEC Requires Mobility Consultant for Singapore

Description:
As part of our expansion plans, we are looking for highly driven individuals to join our AMEC office in Singapore, to manage our international mobile workforce.
Reporting to the Mobility Lead, you will support the business and the globally mobile population by providing a wide range of specialist advisory services in accordance with AMEC global mobility policies and protocols.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end assignment management of all international assignees covering the APAC region, which would include ensuring successful deployment and integration of employees into new assignment locations, managing all employee queries and concerns, and executing all activities associated with the assignment life-cycle.
Acting also as a strategic partner to regional business and HR teams, you will advise on appropriate assignment type, terms and conditions as well as calculate assignment compensation, produce cost projections and prepare assignment packages and documentation. You will also support the Mobility Lead in the establishment of assignment terms for new locations and projects, identifying strategies for reducing overall assignment costs, and ensuring that the business maximizes her mobility investments.
In the process of managing mobility activities, you will be expected to maintain close partnerships with key mobility stakeholders from the business, promoting the reputation of our services to other AMEC business units by creating value, delivering exceptional service and be seen as a partner to the business units.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in mobility operations for an internal or outsourced unit. Experience in working for a multinational or large organisation required. Relevant industry experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of the principles and practices of international mobility.
- Good understanding in the areas of immigration, balance sheets, assignment package review, assignee transfer process and cost projections.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, possessing a high degree of change management skills.
- Excellent business acumen, analytical and creative thinking ability, and problem solving strength.
- Possess excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Able to work independently and as a team player, working with own team and across teams to ensure that a complete HR service is being delivered.
- A self starter and is resourceful.
