Position Summary
The Risk function has overall responsibility for providing central direction and coordination of strategy, policy, and implementation for all risk functions, in support of the global and regional business objectives of Visa Inc. This function delivers a unified view of, and independent assurance over, risks to Visa Inc. senior management and the board.
Job Scope
This is an individual contributor role responsible for identifying and resolving issues of moderate complexity. This position is at an intermediate professional level and requires strong execution and analytical abilities. This role works independently and receives minimal guidance.
Responsibilities:
The candidate will work in concert with the Investigations and CPP Management teams within Fraud Control to:
- Manage CPP intake process for Acquirer Small Merchant Security Breach Investigations.
- Act as the triage person for incoming CPPs; determine whether a CPP is to be investigated by the acquirer or with be assigned a Visa investigator.
- Enter CPPs into the Fraud Investigations Tracking system (FIT).
- Provide follow-up and tracking for acquirer CPP investigations.
- Provide CAMS support for distribution of recovered and compromised Visa accounts.
- Provide support for the usfraudcontrol mail box and phone.
- Partner with merchants and Visa client institutions to develop fraud and risk management strategies that continually strengthen the level of security against payment card fraud.
- Regularly communicate Visa's risk management strategy to clients and other key stakeholders to provide information on fraud products and/or introduce fraud prevention best practices.
- Interact with Product organization to support the development fraud risk and security solutions clients and merchants. Facilitate implementation of fraud products for clients and merchants in assigned region.
- Conduct training on fraud control and risk management for clients and merchants.
- Assist and ensure client banks comply with risk management programs with timely remediation plans.
- Conduct moderately complex analysis, identify trends and make recommendations.
- Support the development of risk management policies, procedures and processes.
The candidate should have a understanding of Fraud Control and Investigations and pragmatically execute job duties and responsibilities efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
- Preferred Education: Bachelor Degree.
- Preferred Experience: 2-5 years relevant Risk or industry experience.
- Excellent computer/technical skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint; Web-based incident management tools; business intelligence).
- Good understanding of payment card industry fraud issues.
- Good written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated team player.
- Must be detail oriented, have strong organizational skills and have solid problem solving abilities.
- Exhibit strong planning, organizational and problem solving skills.
- Proficiency providing consultative support to external customers to identify business needs and develop strategies to support.
- Ability to manage assignments that are of diverse scope and complexity and require significant initiative and judgment.
