Position: Research Coordinator
Work Location: Singapore

Job Description:
The individual will be responsible for the coordinating the management of patients who require a high-tech multi-disciplinary cancer treatment service both within and outside of a multi-national clinical trial. In her daily work she will liaise with 3 clinical and para-clinical departments, the clinical trials resource unit and the international medical service and will report to a senior clinical investigator and the protocol chair of a clinical trial.

The individual will work very closely with clinical trial coordinators and clinicians and will need to use the internet to communicate with clinical staff from different countries.

The coordinator will interact with patients from different nationalities in the Asia-Pacific and beyond and will attend clinical trial meetings. This job is ideal for a motivated individual who enjoys interaction with patients from different ethnic groups and with clinicians and staff from different disciplines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or equivalent. Prior nursing or medical training will be an advantage
• Prior work experience in a general hospital and in clinical research is preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• A working knowledge of at least two languages is an advantage
• Good organization and time management skills
• Good IT skills
