What Is This Opportunity?
Our Mining Production team is seeking a leader with a passion for mining, an eye for opportunities and the drive to act on those opportunities and pass on that passion to the team. We are looking for an all round leader with strong commercial acumen and solid working knowledge of the mining industry and what it takes to be the best in the game.

The Superintendent Mining Production is accountable for the performance of the following areas in the Mining Production department:

1. Resource maximisation
2. Continuous process improvement and compliance
3. Cost management
4. Workforce development
5. Safety
6. Facilitation and management of communication
7. Drive and management of mine expansion
8. Relevant reporting

This is one of the key leadership roles within the company that requires passion, technical expertise, dedication, industry expertise and the desire to excel. You will be leading a large but close knit production team and reporting to the Mine Manager.

Does this describe you?

• Demonstrated experience in a senior supervisory position within a mining contractor firm or production environment of a large scale mine
• Strong working knowledge of both production and maintenance strategies for large-scale earthmoving equipment
• Holder of a valid Western Australian Quarry Managers Ticket (preferably unrestricted)
• Demonstrated positive and collaborative leadership style
• Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills

This position will be on a 4/3 (Tuesday - Friday) roster. We fly to site with Cobham by jet, making the flight a short comfortable trip.
