
Siemens Requires Service Technicians (SES) for Perth, WA

Siemens Mobility and Logistics Division provides hardware, software and service bundles for the optimisation and automation of traffic and transport networks on road and rail as well as for airports and harbors. These include rail automation, infrastructure logistics, intelligent traffic and transportation systems along with all our electro-mobility infrastructure activities.
Position: Service Technicians (SES)
Work Location: Perth, WA
What are my responsibilities?
Based at our office in Osborne Park, you will respond to allocated maintenance and breakdown performing on-site servicing of Enterprise and Integrated Access Control, CCTV and Security systems to provide restoration and resolution to equipment failures, perform preventative maintenance, carry out service actions and modifications, perform move and change requests, and/or carry out installation of equipment in accordance with customer requests and/or contract obligations.
What are my key tasks?
- Preventative maintenance, updates/upgrades, corrective service, installations and/or workshop repairs and remote service support in accordance with business contractual obligations
- Completion of Service Reports by liaising Siemens Customer Care Centre, management, sales, marketing and/or customers ensuring current location and job status is communicated back to the Siemens Customer Care Centre
- Compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety policies, service escalation procedures and that all customer requests, complaints and comments communicated to you are passed to the relevant department and followed up to ensure appropriate action has been taken
- Ensuring all tools and test equipment issued to job holder are properly maintained, calibrated and all company assets are kept safe and secure at all times
- Inspection of issued safety equipment on a monthly basis
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Diploma or Trade certificates, Computer/electronic background and/or relevant industry experience
- A valid Western Australian Security License is mandatory
- Experience within a field service business focusing on a relevant technology
- Experience in repair, maintenance and/or installation activities on a relevant technology Including Windows Server operating systems, SQL database management, enterprise Computer and networking hardware setup and configuration including RAID
- Good understanding in Networking and Microsoft Software packages
- A current and valid driver’s license
