We would like to invite interested employees to submit their applications for the position of Casual Import Store person, in Perth. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for the below:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sorting inbound freight into their respective destinations for deliveries
• Ensuring that shipments that are not cleared through customs are stacked in the respective bonded bins/racks
• Scanning packages appropriately in accordance with process/procedure. This must be performed diligently and accurately
• Downloading scanner data and advising the appropriate operator of the completed task or delay in a timely manner
• Answering phone queries pertaining to shipments in the store
• Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of the UPS Store area
• Ensuring packages and manifests for sub-contractors (including Regional freight) are ready in a timely manner for deliveries
• Timely action of electronic messages received from Customer Service
• Any other duties as set out by the Centre Team Leader/Operations Manager

Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Honest and Reliable
• Positive attitude
• Knowledge of Perth and Greater Perth districts (preferable but not necessary)
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Basic Computer literacy skills (incl MS Office Applications)
• Ability to learn new applications, systems and other UPS approved systems where necessary
• A keen eye for detail.
