
Great Eastern Requires Manager, Learning & Growth for Kuala Lumpur

Position: Manager, Learning & Growth
Work Location: Kuala Lumpur
The Role:
- Strong focus on learning and growth initiatives, i.e. developing Training Needs Analysis, Training Effectiveness Evaluation and Training calendar.
- Design, develop and deliver training programmes based on the needs of the organisation
- Identify, plan and manage the Learning & Growth projects and ensure all projects are implemented according to the timelines, scope and budget
- Handling talent management with activities including the talent review processes, talent nomination, talent development, career ladder.
- Familiar with job grading processes and evaluation techniques e.g. Hay/Mercer
- Identifying disengagement factors and work with the line management to implement impactful action plans and retention strategies to build a highly engaged workforce.
- Plan and roll out organizational culture change interventions to create excellent customer service and working climate.
- Work closely with the Malaysian Insurance Institute (MII) to facilitate certification for employees, to encourage employee development and drive continuous learning and knowledge sharing throughout business unit/region to enhance workforce competency
- Work closely with the Senior Management on the Performance Management System and actively participate in the performance reviews with line managers
Requirements:
- Candidate with Certified Training Professional (CTP) or MBA will be added advantage.
- Minimum five years of working experience with proven track records in Training & Development field, including designing training programmes, talent management, performance improvement, leadership development, career development, succession planning, competency management and employee engagement.
- Good Presentation and Facilitation Skills with 3-5 years of stand-up training delivery
- Good verbal and communication skills, including the ability to draft correspondences independently.
- Strong research skills.
- Pleasant personality and posses strong interpersonal, organisation and time-management skills.
- Experience in coaching is a plus
