Position: Shift Electrician - Brendale
Work Location: Brisbane

Bradford Insulation is the leading provider of energy efficient insulation and ventilation products in Australia. With over 75 years experience and a wealth of building science expertise, this position offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity in an exciting and growing category of the building industry.

We are currently looking for an experienced and qualified Electrician (QLD Electrical Fitter Licence) to be based at our busy and fast paced modern Brendale facility. This position will work a continuous 4 on 4 off shift, with operations taking place on a 24 x 7 day per week basis.

To succeed in this role you will have a technical and mechanical mindset with strong analytical skills, and be experienced working in large automated process manufacturing/production environment.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will work as part of a team and provide ongoing electrical maintenance support to our Automatic Production Line setup, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment and buildings by performing repairs, preventative maintenance and installation and modification design of machinery.

You will ideally be able to demonstrate skills and achievements as a self starter, and have hands on experience and schematic knowledge of automation (both electrical and software), PLC, electrical and pneumatic motion control systems and Management Systems (TPM/5S/ISO 9000). We're looking for a highly motivated individual who can remain calm under pressure, be innovative with their trouble shooting ability, are logical thinkers and have a strong safety, team and customer focus. Knowledge of Seimans S7PLC would be highly regarded.
