Position: Nurse Analyst/Quality Assurance
Work Location: San Antonio, TX

Description:
Our client is dedicated to both laboratory and clinical trauma research. Its mission is to provide requirements - driven combat casualty care medical solutions and products for injured soldiers from self-aid through definitive care cross the full spectrum of military operations; provide state-of -the art trauma, burn, and critical care to Department of Defense beneficiaries around the world; and provide Burn Special Medical Augmentation Response Teams.

On this project you would be analysis and quality assurance of all trauma data from medical records that have been abstracted, and coded using the data using AIS 2005 and ICD-9-CM codes (and 10th Revision when released), and entered into the JTTR database from the Medical Treatment Facilities (MTF) and theater.

Qualified candidates will have:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• US RN License
• Minimum of ten consecutive years of nursing experience with at least three (3) years of experience as a critical care nurse in a critical care unit, trauma unit, emergency department, or inpatient operating room.
• Minimum of three years of experience in education and training processes and systems required.
• Minimum of three years of supervisory or management experience is required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) and office automation software/tools.
