When Bill and Michele Barclay moved to Perth with their family of four in 1987, Bill already had over 25 years experience working in the building industry in England. Since establishing their own business in Perth, the Barclays team have built up an excellent reputation for highly professional building services and honest dealings to the Insurance and Loss Adjusters sector in Western Australia. In more recent years, the Barclays team has grown to include a number of highly experienced professionals including General Manager, Leigh Barclay who is a registered builder and Angela Barclay who is the Office Manager.

Position: Building Supervisor
Work Location: Perth, WA

We are seeking an enthusiastic person who lives South of the River/Mandurah area who ideally would be undertaking their Builder’s Ticket & who wishes to gain some experience in the industry.

The successful candidate will be assisting in the following:

• Scheduling and planning jobs
• Site inspections and estimations
• Preparing quotes
• Ordering materials and tracking deliveries
• Take offs – quantities and materials
• Liaising on with Insurance companies and Loss Adjustors
• Liaising on with Insured’s

Also the successful candidate should possess:

• The ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems.
