State Bank of Countryside, a well established, independently owned, community bank, is seeking a Full-time Teller for our Countryside location. Each Teller is responsible for cashing checks, receiving deposits, processing all other authorized transactions and balancing the cash drawer and all transactions everyday. Tellers will assist customers and coworkers in every way possible to maximize customer relations and ensure the integrity of the Bank. Must present a professional image and demonstrate excellent communication skills.

The Teller assists customers in every way possible to improve customer relations. The Teller also assists co-workers and management team on a daily basis to uphold the necessary functions of the teller department and the Bank’s procedures.

The individual must be flexible to accommodate a schedule that will require working bank hours: Monday – Thursday, 8 AM - 6 PM; Friday, 8 AM – 7 PM; Saturday, 9 PM – 2 PM.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal motor vehicle for travel to other locations required
• Able to lift objects of 30 pounds, reaching and removing objects of 15 pounds above height level and bending to the floor

Required:

• Customer service and related cash handling experience
• Previous retail banking experience preferred
