Position: Senior System Analyst - SAP
Work Location: Kuala Lumpur

Responsibilities:

• Understand the business requirements; design, build and deploy IS solutions and services; provide maintenance and support.
• Maximize the exploitation of business systems, and partner with Regional / Local process owners to streamline business processes for better return on investment and productivity improvement
• Understand business' needs and conduct analysis, development and deployment of global/Regional/Local application systems in compliance with Philip Morris policies and procedures
• Analyze and define proper business process, procedure and user requirements to meet business objectives. Develop and translate business requirements into functional specifications in accordance with agreed conceptual design.
• Manage & execute the deployment and localization of the global IS system solutions
• Manage & execute the design, build and deployment of the local IS solutions
• Provide maintenance and support for local and global IS system solutions
• Adhere to relevant policies, procedures and standards in order to achieve quality and compliance of solutions and services
• Manage customers’ expectations when engaging with customers in any areas

Requirements:

• University Degree in Computer Science/Information Science or a related discipline
• 5 to 8 years’ working experience in IT, particularly in systems analysis and project implementation/management for IS systems
• Experience in SAP Material Management or Plant Maintenance
• Deep understanding of the business strategy and operations to be able to effectively identify information required by the business
• Ability to communicate with various levels of business organization (from Finance function head, department head down to operation users) to get the requirements and provide analysis for the key issues with minimal supervision
• Strong analytical understanding of business process and user requirements to satisfy business objectives.
• Strong project management skills required and ability to prioritization the work to meet both global and local requirements
• Microsoft product knowledge (Excel, Access, Word)
• Programming skills specific in MS SQL scripts, ASP .NET is a plus
• Experienced in Business Object, Data Warehouse Architecture and SAP BI Tools is a plus
• Willing and able to travel within and outside Malaysia
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English as well as presentation skills.
