Job Description:
As a Senior Procurement (Category) Specialist within Business Transformation Outsourcing a division of IBM Australia you will be responsible for leading Strategic Sourcing project teams in sourcing/purchasing goods and services as well as undertaking Vendor Management activities associated with managing commercial relationships with Vendors on behalf of an IBM client.

You will be responsible for Sourcing and Vendor Management activities, which includes detailed analysis and synthesis of internal requirements for particularly complex goods and services, and analysis of complex external suppliers and markets and the commercial management of vendor agreements. You will be accountable for the end to end delivery of procurement activity in accordance with established procedures and controls.

Ideally you will have proven experience in one or more of the following categories:
  • Leadership Development (i.e. Executive Coaching, Programs aligned to the clients Leadership Framework etc)
  • E-learing
  • Training Facilities
  • Learning and Development (i.e. Job Ready Training and Custom Designed, Developed and Delivered learning interventions/solutions)
  • Talent and Organisation Development Services (i.e. Talent Management, Pipelining, Success Profiling, Capability Frameworks, Employee Engagement Survey, etc)
  • Employee Assistance Program Services
  • Traineeship Programs

The role will be based in Melbourne.

If you are a confident, energetic procurement professional with demonstrated experience in:
  • Assisting in developing and delivering sourcing & category strategies in the Corporate segment
  • Leading cross function project teams
  • Analysing internal requirements and external markets
  • Drafting of tender/contract/project documentation
  • Assisting and/or leading negotiations and stakeholder management
  • Reviewing and managing supplier performance
  • Preparing and delivering reports and presentations

Required:
  • Technical Diploma
  • At least 2 years experience in Min 3 yrs Procurement specialist experience
  • English: Fluent

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 3 years experience in Min 3 yrs Procurement specialist experience
  • English: Fluent
