Position: Web Editor
Work Location: Across Singapore - East - New Industrial Road

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for writing and developing content for the web
• Crafting of messages of site promotions, email newsletters and online outreach campaigns
• Optimising web content for improved search engine ranking
• Writing and editing site content
• To establish the writing standards, style guides and content plans
• To work with authors and contributors to provide content for the site which appeals to the book community in Asia
• To support the Marketing Department as needed for the development of content

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years in editorial and on-line experience
• Strong knowledge and experience with web writing, search engine optimisation and web analytics (Google Analytics experience preferred)
• Professional experience in newsletters, advertising, print or broadcast
• Basic understanding of website production and design is a must
• Background from online/consumer goods/retail industry is preferred
• Have a strategic and commercial outlook
