QinetiQ’s Aerostructures Line of Business employs more than 130 specialists in structural integrity, usage monitoring and software development and within its workshop facility operated under contract to DSTO. QinetiQ provide independent airworthiness advice and structural integrity related engineering services to operators of fixed and rotary wing aircraft. Under long term contract with the Australian Defence Force, QinetiQ holds a unique Authorised Engineering Organisation (AEO) status.

We currently require a Degree qualified Software Developer to join us on a 12 month contract. The successful candidate will require SDLC experience including design, development, testing, documentation and maintenance required. Experience in all aspects of testing, including functional, non-functional, integration and automated testing is essential. Experience in database design and maintenance is also required.

We are looking someone with the following:

Position: Software Developer Windows/Web (12 Month Contract)
Work Location: South Melbourne

Technical Skills:

• Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience
• Object Oriented Programming (essential)
• Experience with Delphi (preferred but not essential)
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience with ASP.Net (advantageous)
• Understanding of UML modeling
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle methodologies
