Position: Qantas Ground Services (Ground Crew)
Work Location: Adelaide Airport

Job Description:
Qantas Ground Services (QGS) is a newly created entity under Qantas Airways. It has been established to provide ground handling services and support Qantas Airport Services when required.

With the opportunity to work in an environment that fosters strong workplace relationships and inspires flexibility, your new position as Ground Crew will see you working in a fast paced team environment, actively participating in the loading and unloading of baggage, providing further assistance to less mobile passengers and operating equipment to ensure on-time departure of aircraft.

You will be responsible for:

• Transporting baggage between aircraft and airport terminals;
• Reading and interpreting hazardous material identification labels, aircraft loading manifests and baggage and cargo routing tags;
• Operating ramp equipment, loading and unloading baggage, repetitively lifting items up to 32kgs;
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions.

• Security / Background Check including Federal Police Check.
