Work Location: Ayers Rock

Job Description:
  • Ayers Rock Airport based, parking available
  • Circa $40,000 plus attractive benefits (pro rata to hours worked)

Located in our airport customer services division, this is an exciting opportunity to launch your career with Qantas.

You will be responsible for:
  • Meeting and greeting customers on arrival at the airport;
  • Checking in Qantas and client airlines customers both domestic and international;
  • Assisting customers with boarding and disembarking the aircraft, including checking correct documentation;
  • Assisting customers with special needs.

To be successful in this role you will display:
  • Previous customer service experience (face to face desirable);
  • Sound geographical knowledge of Australian locations and some major international destinations would be highly regarded;
  • Strong verbal communication skills within a high volume, demanding environment;
  • General computer literacy skills;
  • Ability to work 7 day rotational roster;
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills;
  • Studies in travel, customer service or retail will be highly regarded, however not essential.
