Former Socceroo and Sydney Olympic Team Physiotherapist Peter Georgilopoulos heads a team of experienced physiotherapists, sports and remedial massage therapists, acupuncturists and exercise physiologists at the Physio Wellness Centre and Physio Wellness Fitness.

This state of the art practice and fitness facility is centrally located at Coco's Shopping Centre (next to Zarraffas Coffee) on Gooding Drive Carrara, Gold Coast. The centre is open 7 days a week to facilitate the immediate diagnosis and management of acute back pain and sports injuries promoting optimal healing and rapid return to work or sports.

Position: Medical Receptionist

Gold Coast practice Physio Wellness Centre is seeking two experienced receptionists to join their team on a part time basis. Physio Wellness Centre is a multidisciplinary physiotherapy, massage, acupuncture and fitness facility located in Carrara on the Gold Coast.

Each position entails 25-30 hours per week inclusive of some weekend work as required. Practice hours are 8am–7pm week days and 9am-2pm weekends with hours to be shared between the two successful applicants.

Duties include:

• Greet and welcome patients on arrival.
• Process patient information and liaise with third party insurers.
• Generate and invoice appointments.
• Type medical letters and reports.
• Undertake end of day reconciliation.
• Debtor and account management.
• Generate reports on practice performance statistics weekly.

The successful applicant should have:

• Prior and recent experience in a busy, medium sized medical practice.
• Excellent communication and telephone manner.
• The ability to effectively make decisions, and manage patients.
• Organise efficient daily schedules.
• Experience in electronic practice management systems (TM2 preferred) and Hicaps.
• Competent computer skills
