PT Leighton Contractors Indonesia is a division of Leighton Asia and mainly specialises in contract mining, civil engineering and infrastructure, including site preparation, earthworks, roads, bridges, pipelines and tunnels. This position, which we offer now, is based in South Kalimantan at the Wahana Coal Mine Project.

Position: Mine Engineer
Work Location: Kalimantan Selatan (South Borneo)

Duties and responsibilities:
To perform mine design, mine planning and control activities with the objective of ensuring the safe and economically sound development of mines with environmental awareness. The incumbent will have 7 weeks : 2 weeks roster.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mine engineering or related disciplines
• Minimium 3 years working experience in an open cut mining environment
• Good working knowledge in mining software: Minescape, Xpac, etc.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills in English (verbal & written)
• Possess POP/POM certificate would be an advantage
• Indonesian Citizen Only
