Canon U.S.A. Inc., headquartered in Lake Success, Long Island seeks an HRIS Specialist to join the Corporate Human Resources - HRIS Division. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive analysis of employee record, while generating statistical summary reports from information systems.

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

• Manage all HR and Benefit Control Table data entry, including Department tree security.
• Update user profiles, modify roles and perform other security-related functions for all Canon Americas Companies.
• Test program changes, Tax Updates, and system enhancements.
• Schedules HRIS activity to execute requests for information in a timely manner and achieve a high level of service and accuracy.
• Perform special projects for all levels within the organization, including, Corporate Human Resources, Department Executives, in support of corporate needs, including statistical analysis.

Qualifications:
This position requires 5 - 7 years of related experience in all areas of Human Resources. The incumbent should have strong knowledge of HRIS, excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to deal with information in a confidential manner and related diplomatically to all levels of the organization. Individual should have a strong foundation in PeopleSoft's core HR along with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of Crystal Reporting is preferred, but not required. Expert report writer, utilizing PeopleSoft Query Manager and a report writing tool; Hyperion Intelligence Explorer preferred.
