Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts (BTHR) is a leading upscale resort owner, developer and operator of a number of highly acclaimed and multiple award-winning resorts and spas throughout the region. To date, BTHR manages and/or has ownership interests in more than 20 resorts and hotels, 60 spas, 60 retail galleries and two golf courses.

We are now seeking an enthusiastic and qualified individual to fill up the following position.

Position: AutoCAD Drafters
Work Location: North Singapore - Upper Bukit Timah

Responsibilities:

• Assist the team in updating of design norms, project database and documentation
• Assist in research for new building and hotel technology
• Improvement work on database structure
• Assist to maintain proper documentation of design revisions, drawing changes and maintain an archive of past drawings

Requirements:

• Technical abilities in drafting and proficiency in AutoCAD, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to sketch freehand
• Initiative to plan ahead to prepare documentation for design presentation, tender and construction purposes
• Knowledge and ability to produce technical drawings as per various stages of hospitality design
• Knowledge of Development / Construction /Architectural Terminology a plus point
• Ability to use Photoshop, Sketch-up and visualize in 3 dimensions / use 3D software for visualization would be an advantage
• Able to work under tight deadlines and independently with minimal supervision
