
Siemens Requires Senior Mechanical Engineer for Singapore

We are currently looking for:
Position: Lead/Senior Mechanical Engineer – Rotating Equipment
Work Location: Singapore
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Mechanical Engineering team for a Project to design technically sound and cost effective solutions for Offshore Oil & Gas application
- Support Sales and Project team in Technical matters during bidding and execution phase
- Coordinate with classification societies, fabricators and QA / QC team
- Maintain close contacts with Design, Project and Sales team, external contacts with Clients, Classification Agencies and external consultants
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- 7 to 10 years of experience in similar capacity in Oil and Gas fields with experience in upstream projects like FPSO’s & Fixed Platforms
- Experience in Power Generation, Gas Compression & Seawater Injection Module Engineering & assistance in construction and commissioning.
- 1 – 2 years experience in Project Management and knowledge of scheduling software such as MS project preferred.
- Possess strong exposure to Rotary equipments selection, International design codes
- Able to lead a group of Mechanical Engineers and work independently in a multi culture environment
