Job Type: Full time

Based in our Eagle St CBD head office you'll report to the Business Improvement Lead/Finance Manager and focus on identifying, prioritising, designing and implementing commercial initiatives that continue to build our high performance business and culture.

Your Key Accountabilities Will Include:
  • Identifying and prioritising opportunities for improvement;
  • Closing performance gaps that may exist globally;
  • Applying Lean methodology to analyse problems and develop solutions;
  • Analysing root causes of failures, delays and defects;
  • Applying strong change management and influencing skills;
  • Embedding a continuous improvement / performance culture within the Salva Group of Companies businesses;
  • Coaching / supporting and facilitating improvements;
  • Designing & Implementing Enterprise Framework - processes, data, systems;
  • Performance optimisation - delivering value commercial initiatives.

Your Experience & Qualifications Will Include:
  • 2+ years experience in a similar role, ideally within a Resources Sector focused business;
  • Degree qualified in a related field;
  • Experience in business improvement i.e. Lean and/or Six Sigma;
  • Strong problem solving skills and a proven ability to coach and influence others to assist them in solving problems;
  • A strong focus on and history of business improvement;
  • Highly proficient in MS Office, especially Excel & Power Point;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A proven ability to identify, priorities, plan, develop, implement and evaluate continuous improvement activities;
  • Experienced in ERP applications.
