Position: Lab Technician
Work Location: Petaling Jaya (Selangor), Shah Alam / Subang (Selangor)
Responsibilities:
- Quality
- Perform complicated analyses using sophisticated equipment, such as HPLC, GC, ICP-AES and Transia for vitamins, minerals, fatty acid profile, preservatives, pathogen, etc analysis for samples received from MYSG Sub-region and AOA East markets accurately, professionally and understand the theories of the tests performed.
- Assures and evaluate accuracy and precision of the analytical results before submission for validation.
- Identify and trouble shoot potential sources of error arising/associated with the test performed.
- Report situation when quality of work falls below the expected level and/or deviation observed.
- Manage/handle sophisticate state of art analytical instruments i.e. Gas Chromatography (GC), High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Inductive Couple Plasma Atomic Emission Spectrophotometer (ICP-AES), Transia etc independently or with minimum supervision and understand the theories of the instrument used.
- Ensure the analytical instruments are maintained in good working condition that include equipment calibration and troubleshoot problems arise from the instruments.
- Evaluate and interpret analytical data generated from the sophisticated analytical instruments
- Ensure maintenance and implementation of the Quality system as per the NQAC Quality Manual.
Requirements:
Min STPM/ Diploma in any Science field.
