Position: Senior Electrical Designer
Work Location: Perth, WA

Due to a new project, GHD require the services of a Senior Electrical Designer. Reporting to the Lead Electrical Designer, the purpose of the role is to provide technical support and mentoring to all Electrical Drafters involved in design quality, conducting technical critiques of projects, as well as ensuring resource requirements meet current and future design workload.

You'll demonstrate a keen knowledge and ability to prepare general assembly drawings and designs for electrical engineering work under the direction of senior engineers.

You will be able to innovate and assist with the simplification of design to produce design solutions that are applicable in the mining electrical specialism.

The successful candidate will be able to work with other designers and engineers on large projects utilising their established technological operating skills primarily iusing Microstation and other specialist design systems.

Previous demonstrated ability will be across locally based mining and resource sector and infrastructure works coupled and experience working on an EPCM project. Attention to detail and organisational /time management skills are also critical.
