The Exact Asia Development Center (Exact ADC) is the international development center of Exact, one of Europe’s largest suppliers of business software applications. For our Asian Development Center in Kuala Lumpur we are looking for:

Position: Quality Engineer (Senior)

Your job responsibilities as our senior quality engineer
As an experienced quality engineer you are able to create and maintain test scripts independently. You are responsible to plan, organize and manage the overall testing activities. In this role you work closely with our product managers who are in direct contact with our customers. They know what the business needs are, so with your functional knowledge you can translate them into business solutions to enhance user experience of our customers.

You are able to work with different levels of people and have the ability to manage ad-hoc customer requests or customer complaints. You should have an eye to identify system bugs and a dose of initiative to resolve them for continuous improvement. Next to that you are able to provide solutions for the identified bugs. You are part of a dedicated team that collaborates closely with the technical and functional designers. As a senior team member you would like to share your quality engineering expertise in your team as well.

What qualifications make you our ideal senior quality engineer?

• Bachelor's degree, post graduate diploma or professional degree in computer science/information technology
• A minimum of five years’ experience in different kind of testing methods
• Experience in the ERP domain (preferred)
• Strong analytical skills that are needed to evaluate situations both from a high level perspective as well as in detail
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
• Malaysian citizenship or relevant residence status
