Position: Assistant Manager - Content Editor
Work Location: Kuala Lumpur - Jalan Raja Laut

Responsibilities:

• Solicit contents through extensive research to create new contents for the website. Maximize CIMB websites ’ appeal by combining visual presentation with sharp, incisive writing style and maintain that quality across all postings on the site.
• Vet through all new content pages prior to publication.
• Manage and edit all content on the website as well as regular upkeep, maintenance and updating of the site’s backend.
• Assist product owners in writing new promotional articles as well as creation of taglines for banners.
• Maintain the site’s current strong audience while increasing site traffic and repeat readers.
• Conduct Research via the internet and continuously generate innovative ideas for implementation at own website.
• Communicating with IT to ensure schedules are on track and deadlines will be met in an efficient and timely manner.
• Work with web designers to optimize website capabilities to the fullest potential (eg. More dynamic / user-friendly promotional landing pages, etc)
• Complete change requests and proof existing sites as required.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Linguistics/Languages, Mass Communications or equivalent.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Journalist/Editor in for web bases content.
• Highly energetic and able to work within tight deadlines and a multitasker.
